Located at 10 Park Road in Fairfax, Fire Station 21's daily on-duty emergency response personnel consists of a Captain, an Engineer, and a Firefighter-Paramedic. The station houses one Type 1 Fire Engine (structural firefighting) and one Type 3 Fire Engine (wildland firefighting). The four wheel drive Type 3 Engine is utilized for wildland fire responses and responses that require driving off-road.  Station 21 also houses Utility 21 which responds into the watershed as well as other trail calls including search and rescue. 

Plans to remodel the Station are underway. At the October 2026 Town Council Meeting, the Town of Fairfax approved funding. Construction is expected to begin in mid to late 2026.
