Recently, RVFD welcomed 4 new firefighters to our Department. You may have seen them out training with our engine companies. Each day, they train on various aspects of firefighting skills - hose lays, connecting to a hydrant, rope rescue skills, medical training, etc. Our new hires come from different areas and bring unique skills to RVFD. They are (from left to right) Tomas Pastalka, Andrew Juric, James Barona and Ben Herbertson. If you are interested in helping us welcome them, officially, they will be presented with their badges at our next Board Meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at our Headquarters station, 777 San Anselmo Ave., San Anselmo. There will be a reception immediately following the badge pinning ceremony.
