Fairfax residents in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) are required by law to clear 100' of "Defensible Space" around their homes. To help dispose of the large amounts of cut materials, Town of Fairfax, Fairfax Volunteers, Ross Valley Fire Department, and FIRESafe MARIN will sponsor four scheduled chipper days June - September, 2015. This is a community drop off at a central location (see schedule, below).
