Ross Valley Fire Department is a consolidated fire agency protecting the communities of Fairfax, San Anselmo, and Sleepy Hollow in Marin County, California. Consolidated July 1, 1982, the full-time, professional fire department employs one Fire Chief, one Administrative Assistant, twenty five full time Firefighters, one Fire Inspector and fifteen active volunteer Firefighters. Nine of the Department's Firefighters are Paramedics and all engine companies are equipped with Advanced Life Support (ALS) medical equipment.
